Whitehorse Campground (2023)
30 campsites in 3 loops were constructed for the Whitehorse Campground near Darrington, WA.

Cavalero Hill Park Project (2020)
In 2019, a groundbreaking was held to start construction of the new projects which included a skate park, sport court, playground, and off-leash dog area. The park additions were completed in 2020.

Centennial Trail Repairs (2020)
Completed in 2020 The Centennial Trail between Wade Road and Hilltop Road had to close for several weeks to replace a failed 12-inch culvert with a new 18-inch culvert and a 36-inch culvert with a required 9-foot diameter fish passable culvert. The project also included repaving the trail section and replanting along the trail.

Flowing Lake Park Improvements (2020)
Recently, work was completed to add ten new campsites to the campground. Reconfiguration of the entrance and construction of a ranger station was completed in 2020 to address traffic back-ups onto 48th and locate ranger staff within the park entrance.

Esperance Park Improvements (2020)
Snohomish County Parks & Recreation completed improvements to Esperance Park including the addition of the 3.4-acre parcel, formerly owned by the Edmonds School District which has provided additional recreation opportunities including an off-leash dog area, walking paths, playground replacement, sport court, parking lot, field enhancements, stormwater treatment/habitat area and woodland trail enhancements.

Wenberg Waterfront Improvements (2019)
This award-winning renovation project included refurbishing the boat launch, improving vehicular and pedestrian circulation and revising the waterfront area of the park. The water access portion of the project included adding accessible parking spaces and installing new accessible pathways from the parking area to the swimming beach. The pathways continue onto an accessible swimming/fishing dock allowing clear, easy access to the lake.

Lake Stickney Park Improvements (2018)
In 2017-2018, improvements were made to the southern portion of Lake Stickney Park.

Logan Park Playground (2018)
The “big kids” (ages 5-12) side of the playground at Logan Park was renovated in 2017-2018. The aged wooden play structure was replaced with a hybridized playground that incorporates a conventional play structure into a playable landscape. This combination of styles engages different styles and activity levels of play (physical, exploration, social/role-playing and creative/building).

Paine Field Airport Park (2017)
In 2016, High Trek Ventures, LLC was selected to build, construct, and operate an aerial adventure course and accompanying zip line on an unused portion of approximately one (1) acre in size of Paine Field Community Park.
