2017 County-Initiated Comprehensive Plan Amendments

The Snohomish County Council approved Motion No. 16-316 on August 23, 2016, which approves the following list of proposals for consideration as part of the 2017 County-initiated Comprehensive Plan amendments. The proposals will be processed to include environmental review under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), for planning commission review and recommendation, and subsequent transmittal to the County Council for final consideration in 2017.

The Snohomish County Planning Commission will conduct a briefing session on the 2017 County-initiated Comprehensive Plan Amendments on April 25, 2017. View the agenda (PDF).

GPP2 - Transportation Element (PDF)
Placeholder proposal by the Department of Public Works to revise the Arterial Circulation Map, the Bicycle System Map, and Transportation Element text and table to add recommended arterial segments in the vicinity of the 128th St SW/I-5 interchange and the 164th St SW/I-5 interchange as have been identified through the East/Wed Corridor High Capacity Access Study.

GPP3 - Transportation Element (PDF)
Placeholder proposal by the Department of Public Works to revise the Transportation Element, and the High Capacity Transit Map. Revisions would describe the additional transit facilities approved through the Sound Transit 3 (ST3) System Plan. Approval of the ST3 System Plan is dependent on a public vote in November 2016. If ST3 fails to be approved, this placeholder would be withdrawn.
