Snohomish County Public Works is restoring approximately 1-mile of the Whitehorse Trail along State Route 530 near milepost 36.9 to C-Post Road. In addition to the trail, the county will replace two culverts in the area.

Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2016 and should be complete by mid-October 2016. Work is expected to occur Monday through Thursday, depending on weather and holidays. Construction is being completed by Taylor’s Excavators, Inc.
The reconstruction of the trail is expected to cost approximately $980,000 and is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Snohomish County Parks & Recreation Department.
