Centennial Trail History Walk
Snohomish County started to develop sections of the Centennial Trail in 1989 during the State’s centennial celebration. Today the rail alignment is part of a developing regional trail network connecting to Woodinville, Monroe, Everett, Lake Stevens, Arlington and Skagit County. The Centennial Trail is one of the region’s most popular attractions. Walking, biking, skating and horseback riding activate the trail each and every day. The Centennial Trail provides safe access to local surface transportation for more than 520,000 users every year.

Evergreen State Fair
The Evergreen State Fair Park is one of the 121 parks in the Snohomish County parks system. This 193 acre entertainment and activity facility offers a variety of space where hundred of thousands of visitors and participants enjoy events like horse shows, trade shows, auto racing and more. The 2023 Evergreen State Fair will be held August 24-29, closed August 30, and August 31-September 4. An average 350,000 guests enjoy celebrating with us each year and it is the largest county fair in the state.

Juneteenth
Juneteenth National Independence Day also called “Juneteenth”, “Freedom Day”, and “Emancipation Day” is an annual celebration marking the end of slavery in the United States. The holiday began in Galveston, Texas in the late 1800s and is the longest-running African American holiday in America. Juneteenth is commonly celebrated with community events, food, sharing in community, and educational and cultural experiences. Martin Luther King Jr. Day
On January 16, the entire nation pauses in remembrance of a civil rights hero. At least, that’s the point of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a federal holiday that takes place on the third Monday of each January. MLK day was designed to honor the activist and minister assassinated in 1968, whose accomplishments have continued to inspire generations of Americans.

National Night Out
National Night Out 2023 - will be at Willis Tucker Park on August 1, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 pm. This is a free family event to attend.
