HOME Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program
Snohomish County announces the availability of an estimated $400,000 in HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) funds for a tenant-based rental assistance program for program years 2015 to 2019. Funding is estimated at this time and additional funding may become available through re-allocation of prior year funds or through increased federal allocations in future years.
Tenant-based rental assistance program to assist extremely low-income and low-income persons who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or unstably housed to obtain permanent housing. This population includes individuals, families, unaccompanied youth, and/or persons with special needs. Funds may only be used to provide security and utility deposits. However, if additional funds become available, rental assistance may also be provided.
Eligible non-profit organizations, public housing authorities, and other public agencies are invited to apply.
Agencies interested in applying for these funds are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-application workshop on Friday, June 19, 2015, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Public Meeting Room 1, located on the first floor of the Snohomish County Robert J. Drewel Building (Administration East), 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to hand deliver applications to the Human Services Department, as specified below, to avoid missing the deadline due to mail delivery.
