Little Bear Creek Basin Plan (Water Quality Study)

Background and Purpose

Snohomish County's Conservation & Natural Resources Surface Water Management (SWM) Division developed the Little Bear Creek Basin Plan to meet the watershed planning requirement for the county’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase I Permit.

The focus of the plan, the Little Bear Creek basin, is located in unincorporated Snohomish County, east of the cities of Bothell and Mill Creek and north of the city of Woodinville.

The intent of the plan is to provide a framework for future stormwater management actions that will protect and enhance the basin’s water quality and habitat resources.
