Once you license your pet, you will be sent a renewal notice on an annual basis. If the license is not renewed on time, a late renewal penalty of $10 per pet will be added to your renewal fee.
If you are 62 years of age or older, you are entitled to a reduced pet license fee if your pet is spayed/neutered, or spayed/neutered and microchipped. Unaltered pets are not eligible for the senior discount.
When you first license your pet, you will receive a tag to place on your pet's collar. The tag is permanent and nontransferable.
If the tag is lost or damaged, you may request a replacement tag for $5 when you renew your pet's license. You will not automatically receive a new tag at renewal.
