Bathhouse business means any place where baths, saunas, showers, or hot tubs of any kind are given or furnished to the public for or in expectation of a fee or other compensation.
Employee means any person who works for a public bathhouse or hot tub.
Any individual or business in unincorporated Snohomish County meeting the definition must obtain a bathhouse or bathhouse employee license prior to operating or operating in a bathhouse business. These licenses are annual licenses and must be renewed yearly. Applicants must appear with current photo identification and four color passport pictures, 2 inches by 2 inches, taken within the last six months.
