2015 Update: Environmental Analysis
On June 10, 2015, the Snohomish County Council adopted Amended Ordinance No. 14-137 for the major update to the County's Comprehensive Plan. The update became effective on July 2, 2015. The following is the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) that the County conducted to support the Comprehensive Plan update.
Final Environmental Impact Statement for 2015 Update
The FEIS for the 2015 GMA Update was issued June 3, 2015 by Snohomish County Planning and Development Services (PDS).
This Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) is a non-project programmatic document authorized under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), WAC 197-11-442. The purpose of the document is to respond to public comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). The DEIS was issued on September 8, 2014, and public comments were accepted until October 8, 2014.
The FEIS contains two volumes:
- Volume 1 covers the Natural and Built Environments and Response to Comments
- Volume 2 covers Transportation
Printed copies of the FEIS are available for review at the offices of the Department of Planning and Development Services, 2nd floor of the Robert Drewel Building, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, Washington.
