Since 1992, Snohomish County Surface Water Management (SWM) has worked with citizen volunteers to monitor lake water quality across approximately 40 lowland lakes.
Lake health report cards and in-depth State of the Lakes Reports can be found by clicking on individual lakes below. Annual update reports are provided for each lake as new monitoring data becomes available.
Additionally, information on current and historical lake water quality can be found online on SWM’s interactive Water Quality Database.
The following lakes are posted for an ongoing toxic algae bloom. Blooms look like green or blue surface scums or algae clumps. While posted, follow the guidelines on the WARNING sign.
