Legal Services for Individuals Over 60

This program provides legal advocacy for the rights, benefits, and entitlements of older persons. Individuals over the age of 60 are provided with counseling, advocacy, and/or representation in financial assistance, health care, housing, and protective services. For eligible clients, services are paid for with state and federal funds.

Services

Services include:

  • Legal assistance in the form of substantive cases, legal advice, representation and advocacy before administrative and judicial forums
  • Client referrals
  • Development and distribution of educational materials
  • Advocacy projects which affect seniors
